Job Description: StaffCo Direct are actively recruiting for 3.5t Van drivers for one of our extremely well recognised client based in Dagenham Essex.
This role is temporary ongoing.
We are looking for highly motivated, flexible drivers who are able to take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day to day operation.
The Job:
The role will involve Multi-Drop of goods from store to customers houses.
Full training will be given, you will be required to load and unload your vehicle. Your load can consist of boxes and bags of food so you must be prepared and able to lift and carry.
You will be required to unload your vehicle at delivery points / customers houses.
You will be required to use a handheld PDA or scanner/printer during your shift.
This role does involve manual loading/unloading, handballing products off your van.
You will be responsible for making sure all delivery logs are signed and accounted for and the role will require you to be well presented, polite, courteous and to represent the client and StaffCo to a high standard at all times.
What we offer:
- Hourly Rate: £10.50 per hour Days
- AM or PM starts
What we are looking for:
- Valid Car/Van (B) Licence, held for over 6 months
- Ideally experience in the same or similar role
- No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
- Excellent level or English
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
- Hardworking
- Good Timekeeping
- Customer care focused
- Well presented
- Physically fit
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous upon application of this role.
