Job Description: Immediate Start with on going work is what Barker Ross can offer in Partnership with B&M Stores. We are looking for drivers to support their very busy Distribution Centre.
The role is predominantly doing store deliveries which are all palletised, operating a pallet truck to move the pallets onto the trailers taillift. You can state a 2 hour window which you'd like to start and a rota from the below that is yours so you know you'll always be on those shifts thus offering stability and guaranteed working days.
HGV 1, Class 1, C+E drivers are needed to join the team; the recruitment process requires an assessment and induction, which is paid, once passed you will be able to start immediately. This role is on going, especially as B&M are now also in their peak period. Newly passed and inexperienced drivers are welcome.
We can offer:
Temp to perm contracts (see below for fixed rota option)
Days shifts / evening shifts
Fixed rota with optional additional shift
meal allowance per shift of £10 (when on temp to perm)The shift patterns for temp to perm only are
Sunday to Thursday
Tuesday to Saturday
Wednesday to Sunday
Thursday to Monday
Friday to Tuesday
Saturday to WednesdayThere is an enhanced weekend pay rate
PAYE drivers and LTD Drivers are welcome
